Discover Nature Method 2 - Use the 'Ask Nature' Website

The website www.asknature.org is a fantastic resource full of examples from nature. It includes examples of how nature delivers different Functions and some of the human applications are used for.

The website enables you to search for the specific Functions you are interested in, and then read about different examples of how this Function is delivered in nature.

1. Go to https://asknature.org/biological-strategies/.
2. Click on ‘search strategies.’
3. Use the left-hand menu to search for Functions you are interested in.
4. Use the Species Report Card to make notes and record your research findings.
5. Complete parts 1 – 3 of your Species Report Card for each Function you study. You will complete part 4 later (Design Principles).
